The Six Eight Time Signature ())

Another useful time signature based on eighth notes is six eight time, which tells you there are six eighth note beats in each bar. Six eight time is counted 1 2 3 4 5 6, 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc. The following example demonstrates the song House of the Rising Sun played in third position in ) time.
