To play the Bm chord, use the first, second, third and fourth fingers of your left hand as shown in the diagram. Strum only four strings.
The following progression is a turnaround in the key of D major. It contains the Bm chord and there are two chords per bar, each receiving two counts. Notice that this progression sounds similar to the turnarounds you have already learned.

To play the B7 chord, use all four fingers of your left hand as shown in the diagram. Strum only five strings.
Some guitarists deaden the 6th string by lightly touching it with the left hand thumb which reaches over the top of the neck. The 6th string can then be strummed but it won’t sound as it is deadened. This technique can apply to any chord where the 6th string note is not part of the chord shape.
