How to Hold the Recorder

Place the first finger of your left hand on the round hole at the top of the recorder. Look at the picture to make sure you have your finger in the right place.

Place the thumb of your left hand on the hole at the back of the recorder. Let your right hand thumb support the recorder for every note. You are now fingering the note B.
