The G Augmented Chord
An augmented chord is indicated by a "+" or "aug" written after the letter name, e.g. C+ or C aug. A full summary of augmented chord shapes can be found in the chord chart at the end of this book.
The play the G augmented chord use the thumb, third and fifth fingers of the left hand. Move your hand towards the back of the keys to make this chord easier to play.
