Picking Patterns in Three Four Time

In ^ time the standard alternating bass is modified to fit into three beats. The following example highlights a standard bass line that can be employed for a ^ time picking pattern.

A variety of patterns can be constructed using the previous ^ bass line by incorporating notes from the treble strings. Try creating some patterns of your own based upon the * patterns studied so far in this book. The following example uses ^ fingerpicking patterns.
