The Descending Slide

A descending slide is the sliding from a higher note to a lower note. In Example 29 you have to slide to the second fret of the third string from a higher note. Begin with playing a higher note (third or fourth fret), and slide back to the second fret immediately after the first note has been played. Once again, there should be no time value given to the first note. A diagonal line written above the note and the symbol "S" indicates a descending slide.
