Esus
The root 6 suspended bar chord is based upon the open E suspended (Esus) chord. An alternative fingering (see diagram) is often used as the basis of the bar chord.
If this open shape is played as a bar chord on the third fret it becomes a Gsus chord, and an Asus if played on the fifth fret. See the following diagrams.
