Shuffles in The Key of E

Shuffles in The Key of E

E is one of the most common keys for Blues. Once again, much use is made of the open strings. Here is the basic shuffle pattern in the key of E, with a turnaround ending on a B7 chord in the final bar.

This variation uses one of the earlier turnarounds transposed to the key of E. It also contains a chromatic tun between chords I and IV, using fifth chords. Also watch for the extra stretch with the little finger in bar 6. This may take some time to master, so take it slowly ar first.
