The following example demonstrates 16th notes with a C7 chord shape played as E7 at the 5th fret. The chord can also be moved down one fret to become an Eb7. When playing this shape, be sure to damp out the 6th and 1st strings with your left hand. On the diagram, these strings are marked with an X.
This one combines 16th notes and 8th notes within the one beat. Practice it slowly with your metronome and remember to count out loud and tap your foot on each beat.
