The A Minor Chord (Am)

To play the Am chord, use the first, second and third fingers of your left hand as shown in the diagram. Strum all six strings.
There are three main types of chords: major, seventh and minor chords. You have already learnt some major chords and some seventh chords. The first minor chord you will learn is the A minor chord. A minor chord is indicated by a small "m" written after the chord name. For example, Am.
Rhythm Pattern
When changing from the C to Am, you need only move your third finger.
When changing from the Am to D7, use your first finger as a pivot finger.
