Additional Riffs

Here are six more riffs. They are all shown against an A chord with the first note on the fifth fret of the 6th string. These riffs and the previous riffs can be used with the root note commencing anywhere on the 5th or 6th string.

e.g., if these riffs were played commencing on the eighth fret of the 6th string they would be played against a C chord. Practice playing these riffs against Blues progressions in various keys, e.g., key of G major, key of E major.

Use down picks (a ) for the quarter notes and alternate picking (a s) for the eighth notes.
