The Chromatic Scale
The chromatic scale is a scale that contains every note between two notes of the same name. Each note will therefore be one semitone apart. Study the C and A Chromatic scales as shown here.
Two common chromatic scale patterns are shown next. Special attention should be given to the suggested left hand fingering.
