As you learnt in lesson 5, it is common to move between the various forms of a scale by sliding from one to the next. Below is a variation of pattern 1 extension (sliding pattern 1) which moves between several forms of the A minor pentatonic scale. The arrows on the diagram indicate the most common notes to slide to or from when changing positions.
Here is a lick which makes use of this sliding scale pattern. Once you have the scale memorized, try creating your own licks from it.
