The following examples combine the chords just shown with chords you have already learned. The diminished chord in example 144 links the first bar together with the third bar. The 5 in the dominant chord adds a different color to the chord.
Example 145 uses the half diminished chord followed by the augmented dominant seventh chord which is quite common in a minor key.
Now the suspended chord is used in conjunction with the dominant chord.
Example 147 is a Fusion Riff over the suspended F chord.
The chord progression in example 148 moves downward in 5ths from one bar to the next, in a similar way to the cycle of 5ths. This allows all of the scale tone chords in the key of C major to be used in the process.
Example 149 uses a similar concept to the last example using mainly scale tone chords from the key of G minor.
