The following examples involve the use of both hands and combine the various techniques previously outlined.
In example 399 play the lower E note first (HA) with your left hand, then add the second note (: ) on top with your right hand so that both ring together as an octave. Transpose this exercise onto different strings and locations on the fretboard.
In example 400 the left hand hammers the same note while the right hand moves melodically up and down.
Create your own combinations by choosing a note with your left hand and tapping different notes with your right hand.
In example 401 this process is reversed; the right hand taps the same note while the left hand moves up and down the fretboard. Create your own lines by choosing different notes.
Example 402 uses only left hand hammer-attacks chromatically on one string.
Example 403 uses only right hand tapping chromatically on one string an octave higher than the previous example.
Example 404 alternates between both hands in chromatic octaves.
Example 405 plays the chromatic octaves simultaneously.
