Vibrato

The vibrato is another technique controlled with the left hand finger. Vibrato involves moving the string rapidly back and forth in the direction of the adjacent strings as the finger is fretting the note.

In the following example vibrato is applied to notes on the 4th and 3rd strings, and is indicated by a wavy line above the note.

The following lick is played within the natural minor scale and uses vibrato.
