C Chord Licks

The standard alternating bass line for a C chord is between the C note on the third fret of the fifth string and the E note on the second fret of the fourth string.

Once again use the notes from the C Major and Blues scales for the melody.

Example Thirteen uses a C Major with a C seventh chord.

Example Fourteen uses two extra notes on the second string.

Example Fifteen adds the top G note on the first string.

Example Sixteen uses the F note on the first string as well as the other notes in the previous three exercises
