Supplement 1 Betty’s Blues
The first supplement is based upon a twelve bar blues progression in the key of E Major.
Betty’s Blues – Analysis
- Bars one and two are taken directly from Lesson One, E Chord Licks, Example Two.
- Bars three and four are also from Lesson One. This time Example Four.
- Bars five and six are represented in Lesson Two, A Chord Licks, Example Six.
- Bars seven and eight are also from Lesson One, Example Four.
- Refer to Lesson Seven for bar number nine.
- In bar number ten move the basic B Seventh chord up the fret board one fret to play the C Seventh.
- The supplement finishes with the same lick as in bars three and four.
