There are 8 sticking possibilities over 3 events (3 x 1/4 note triplets or 3 x 1/16 note triplets etc.). Triplet sticking are combinations of these 8. The following examples are written as one beat of eighth note triplet.

The following example is the result of steps 3 and 4 from "Stickings Around the Kit". Hi-hat and kick are played in unison on beat 1 to create greater rhythmic tension.
