Fill-ins Featuring Bass Drum

The lowest frequency on a drumkit is produced by the bass drum. The extra depth and impact of the bass drum sound can be utilized in the creation of drum fills.

The examples which follow introduce a basic pattern incorporating both hands and bass drum. Each basic pattern is followed by 2 or 3 variations, which explore different sound source and or rhythmic possibilities, and or combine the basic pattern with other patterns.
