The second solo is based upon a twelve bar blues in the key of G.
The licks are taken directly from the Root Five Major bar chord. This time we can form a Major chord by barring the second, third and fourth strings with the slide.
The chords which will be used are "G" on the twelfth fret, "C" on the fifth fret and "D" on the seventh fret.
G

Use the thumb on the fourth string, the first finger on the third string and the second finger on the second string, if using a right hand fingerstyle.
If you are using a pick, you may find it a little tricky to play the middle three strings together without striking the first string as well. The first string may be dampened by resting another finger on this string when playing the chord on the middle three strings.
