The following example uses root notes throughout.
Example 4 uses the same chord progression with different bass notes. This is the first example that uses notes other than root notes.
Remember that the progression finishes on an A minor * chord and so you should finish on an A note (root note of the A minor chord).
*Am is a shorthand method of writing the A minor chord.
