In the root 6 sixth chord, the fourth string is deadened by the third finger.

The root 5 Bb6 chord is an extension of the Bb major chord, with the third finger bar extending to cover the first string.
The formula for a 6th chord is I - III - V - VI, so the notes contained in these two chords will be:
