C7
In Lesson 7 you were introduced to the open C7 chord thus:
This can be converted into a movable chord shape by repositioning the third finger onto the sixth string, and deadening the fifth and first strings.
The first finger deadens the first string, and the third finger deadens the fifth string.
The re-location of the third finger does not change the chord name because it still contains the correct notes;
By following the chromatic scale (starting on C) this chord shape can be played at any position on the fretboard.
e.g., 1st fret - C7 3rd fret - D7 6th fret - F7 etc.
Rhythm Pattern
This example follows a set pattern (over 2 bars) which moves up the fretboard one semitone at a time.
