Licks 80 - 83 introduce another way of using a double note lick. This time a note is bent, and while the note is sustaining, another note is played with a different finger, causing both notes to ring together. The symbol Z is used in the tablature to show which two notes will ring together. In the following example, the 13th fret on the second string is bent with the third finger. As the note sustains, the fourth finger plays the note on the first string.
