Patterns Three, Four and Five - Summary

The important points and practical uses of patterns three, four and five can be summarized in the following steps.

Step 1

Lessons 13 - 15 discussed the uses of pattern three, with the inclusion of additional notes and Blues notes.

Step 2

Lesson 16 showed pattern four and the additional notes which may be added to pattern four to complete the Blues scale.

Step 3

An alternative fingering combining patterns three and four was detailed in Lesson 17.

Step 4

A new pattern derived from all three patterns featured in Lesson 18.

Step 5

Finally, the joining of pattern five and pattern one was incorporated into Rock Guitar Solo number 6.
